Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Microsoft .NET. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can run a specially crafted application to trigger a library loading input validation flaw and execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.

[Editor's note: The vendor reports this vulnerability as a remote vulnerability but that an exploit requires prior local access.]

Yorick Koster of Securify B.V. and rgod (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative) reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
