Description:   A vulnerability was reported in MantisBT. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

A remote user can send a specially crafted request to the SOAP API to exploit a flaw in the blacklist implementation and view the master cryptographic salt value.

The vendor was notified in October 2014.

Paul Richards reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can obtain the master cryptographic salt value.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a patch [in November 2015], available at:
