Description:   A vulnerability was reported in LibTIFF. A remote user can cause the target application to crash.

A remote user can create a specially crafted file that, when processed by the target application, will trigger a buffer overflow in the gif2tiff component and cause the target application using libtiff to crash.

Aladdin Mubaied reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can create content that, when loaded by the target application, will cause the target application to crash.
