Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in Dell SonicWALL GMS Virtual Appliance. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system. A remote authenticated user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted XML-encoded data to trigger a deserialization error and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2016-2397]. The code will run with root privileges.

A remote authenticated user can send specially crafted data to trigger an input validation flaw in the GMS ViewPoint (GMSVP) web application and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2016-2396]. The code will run with root privileges.
