Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Asterisk. A remote authenticated user can cause the target service to crash.

A remote authenticated user can trigger a flaw in the processing of UDPTL FAX data to cause an invalid memory access. As a result, the target service will crash.

Walter Dokes and Torrey Searle reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can cause the target service to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (11.21.1, 13.7.1, 11.6-cert12, 13.1-cert3).
