Description:   A vulnerability was reported in eCryptfs. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can cause the setuid-root mount.ecryptfs_private helper to mount over an arbitrary target directory that the user owns, including procfs, and exploit interactions with higher privileged processes to gain elevated privileges.

Solution:   Ubuntu has issued a fix.
