Description:   A vulnerability was reported in F5 BIG-IP. A remote user can consume excessive memory on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted UDP data to trigger a memory leak and consume excessive memory on the target system.

Systems with the management interface configured to provide remote access to UDP-based services are affected.

Systems that use self IP addresses to provide remote access to UDP-based services are affected.

Virtual servers are affected in certain configurations.

Systems with wide IPs referencing certain pool configurations are affected.

The vendor has assigned IDs 530829 and 540596 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can consume excessive memory resources on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
