Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Windows. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system. A local user can gain elevated privileges on the target system.

A remote user can create a specially crafted DLL file to execute arbitrary code [CVE-2016-0016, CVE-2016-0018].

A local user can run a specially crafted application to gain elevated privileges on the target system [CVE-2016-0014, CVE-2016-0020].

Ashutosh Mehra (via HP's Zero Day Initiative), Stefan Kanthak of Me, myself & IT, Steven Vittitoe of Google Project Zero, and parvez at greyhathacker.net reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A local user can gain elevated privileges on the target system.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
