Description:   A vulnerability was reported in KVM. A local user on the guest system can cause denial of service conditions on the host system.

A local privileged user with access to KVM Programmable Interval Timer (PIT) I/O ports on the guest system can trigger a divide by zero error and cause the host system to crash.

Systems built with KVM virtualization support (CONFIG_KVM) are affected.

Impact:   A local privileged user on the guest system can cause the host system to crash.
