Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in dhcpcd. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system. A remote user can cause the target service to crash.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to potentially trigger a heap overflow in dhcp_optlen() and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2016-1503].

A remote user can return a specially crafted DHCP response to cause the target service to crash [CVE-2016-1504].

Nico Golde reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can cause the target service to crash.
