Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Sudo. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

When a local user is granted root privileges to sudoedit a file that is specified in the '/etc/sudoers' file with multiple wildcards in the full path name, the user can create a specially crafted symbolic link (symlink) from a permitted file to a critical file on the system to gain root access to the target critical file.

Impact:   A local user assigned certain privileges via the '/etc/sudoers' file can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (1.8.15) [in November 2015].
