Description:   A vulnerability was reported in PuTTY. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send a specially crafted erase character (ECH) control sequence to the target connected user to trigger an integer overflow in the terminal emulator and potentially execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a source code fix, available at:
