Description:
A vulnerability was reported in OpenLDAP. A remote user can cause the target system to use a different encryption cipher than specified in the configuration.
The system does not properly parse OpenSSL-style cipher strings in multi-keyword mode. A remote user can send a specially crafted cipher request to cause the target system to use a cipher that was not intended to be used.
Martin Poole of the Red Hat Software Maintenance Engineering group reported this vulnerability.
