Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Xen. A local user on the guest system can cause denial of service conditions on the guest system.

A local user on the guest system can trigger a flaw in the Populate-on-Demand (PoD) mode to cause the guest system to crash.

HVM guests that have been constructed in PoD mode are affected.

ARM systems are not affected.

x86 PV VMs are not affected.

Impact:   A local user on the guest system can cause the target guest system to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (xsa153-libxl.patch).
