Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Wireshark. A remote user can cause the target service to crash.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to cause the target pcapng file parser to crash when copying an interface filter.

Dario Lombardo and Shannon Sabens reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (1.12.8).
