Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in EMC SourceOne. A remote user can access data on the target system. A remote user can modify data on the target system. A remote user can bypass security controls on the target system. A remote user can hijack the target user's session. A remote user can conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

A remote user can hijack a target user's session [CVE-2015-6845].

The software does not properly filter HTML code from user-supplied input before displaying the input [CVE-2015-6844]. A remote user can cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the target user's browser. The code will originate from the site running the EMC SourceOne software and will run in the security context of that site. As a result, the code will be able to access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with the site, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user.

The Email Supervisor Reviewer does not properly limit authentication attempts [CVE-2015-6843]. A remote user can can duct brute force password guessing attacks.

Some components of the Email Supervisor use hard-coded encryption keys. A remote user can obtain the keys to access and modify data [CVE-2015-6846].

Impact:   A remote user can obtain data on the target system.

A remote user can modify data on the target system.

A remote user can bypass security controls on the target system.

A remote user can hijack the target user's session.

A remote user can access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with the site running the EMC SourceOne software, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user.
