Description:
Two vulnerabilities were reported in IcedTea-Web. A remote user can cause arbitrary applets to be executed on the target user's system.
The system does not properly validate applet URLs [CVE-2015-5234]. A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will inject arbitrary applets into the '.appletTrustSettings' configuration file that can bypass user approval for execution.
The system does not properly validate the origin of unsigned applets [CVE-2015-5235]. A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary applets on the target user's system.
