Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Apache Commons Components HttpClient. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

The HttpClient does not properly enforce the 'http.socket.timeout' configuration value when an HTTPS connection is established, which may cause the HTTPS connection to hang. A remote user can repeatedly exploit this flaw to consume excessive resources on the target system.

Impact:   A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (4.3.6).
