Description:   A vulnerability was reported in F5 BIG-IP. A remote user can cause the target service to crash.

A remote user can send a specially crafted fragmented packet to cause the target Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) to restart and fail to process traffic while restarting.

The vulnerability resides in the FastL4 virtual server component.

The vendor has assigned IDs 437627 and 513034 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) to restart and fail to process traffic while restarting.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.

A patch matrix is available in the vendor's advisory.
