Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco NX-OS. A remote user on the local network can cause the target service to crash.

A remote user on the local network can send a specially crafted Internet Group Management Protocol version 3 (IGMPv3) packets to the target device to trigger a buffer overflow and cause the target IGMP process to restart.

The vendor has assigned bug IDs CSCuv69713, CSCuv69717, CSCuv69723, CSCuv69732, and CSCuv48908 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user on the local network can cause the target IGMP service to restart.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
