Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco ASR Router. A remote user can cause the target service to become unavailable.

A remote user can send a specially crafted GPRS Tunneling Protocol for Version 2 (GTPv2) packet to the target Cisco Packet Data Network Gateway (PGW) to trigger an input validation flaw and cause the target GTPv2 service to become unavailable.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCut11534 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service to become unavailable.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
