Description:   A vulnerability was reported in NVIDIA FreeBSD Driver. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user with access to the /dev/nvidia* device nodes can create specially crafted pointers to trigger a pointer dereference flaw in the NVIDIA GPU FreeBSD kernel module (nvidia.ko) and read or write arbitrary kernel memory and execute arbitrary code with kernel-level privileges.

Impact:   A local user can obtain kernel-level privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
