Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco ASR 5000. A remote user can cause the target Session Manager service to become unresponsive.

A remote user can send a specially crafted IP packet to trigger an input validation flaw in the Packet Data Network Gateway (PGW) and cause the target Session Manager service to become unavailable.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCut38476 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target Session Manager service to become unresponsive.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
