Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco ASR 5000 Series. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user with administrative privileges can write an arbitrary file to the compact flash (CF) storage. When the device boots, operating system commands in the CF file will be executed by the target system.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuu75278 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local administrative user can execute arbitrary operating system commands on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
