Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco ASR Router. A remote user on the local network can cause the target device to reload.

A remote user can send specially crafted PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) Active Discovery Request (PADR) packets to the target device as part of PPPoE establishment to cause the target device to reload.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCty94202 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user on the local network can cause the target device to reload.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
