Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Linux Kernel. A local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A local user with access to /dev/kvm can trigger a null pointer dereference in kvm_apic_has_events() to cause the target system to crash.

x86 based systems are affected.

Impact:   A local user can cause the target system to crash.
