Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco NX-OS. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can supply specially crafted parameter values to the tar command via the command-line interpreter to execute arbitrary operating system commands on the target system.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCus44856 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
