Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IP Phones 9900 Series. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can call the target user's register phone and, after the target user answers the phone, send specially crafted real-time transport protocol (RTP) packets to cause the target user's phone to become unresponsive.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCur39976 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target user's phone to become unresponsive.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
