Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in EMC Secure Remote Services (ESRS) Virtual Edition (VE). A remote user can spoof trusted hosts/devices. A remote user can gain access to the target system.

The system does not properly validate certificates [CVE-2015-0543]. A remote user can create a specially crafted certificate to spoof trusted hosts/devices.

The system creates session cookies without sufficient randomness [CVE-2015-0544]. A remote user can exploit this flaw to gain access to the target ESRS interface and obtain full control of the target system.

Han Sahin of Securify B.V. reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can spoof trusted hosts/devices.

A remote user can gain access to the target ESRS interface and obtain full control of the target system.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (3.06; Advisory ESA-2015-097).
