Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Virtualization Experience Client. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can exploit an input validation flaw in a specific diagnostics option of the administrative web interface to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system with root privileges.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCug54412 to this vulnerability.

Cisco Virtualization Experience Client (VXC) 6000 Series is affected.

Impact:   A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
