Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Prime Network Control System. A remote authenticated user can gain elevated privileges on the target system.

A remote authenticated user that is logged in as a system monitor user to peform configuration tasks can send specially crafted data to trigger a flaw in the authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) user roles to perform restricted actions via the Device Work Center (DWC).

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCur27371 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can gain elevated privileges and perform restricted commands on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
