Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted Session Description Protocol (SDP) parameter negotiation request via a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) connection to consume excessive CPU resources on the target system. As a result, the Video Communication Server (VCS) system may become unreachable.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCut42422 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target VCS system to become unreachable.
