Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Catalyst 6500 Switch. A remote authenticated user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote authenticated user can send a specially crafted message during the establishment of an IPSec tunnel to trigger a boundary error and cause the target switch to reload.

The vulnerability resides in the Internet Key Exchange (IKE) subsystem of the WS-IPSEC-3 service module.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCur70505 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can cause the target system to reload.
