Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco ASA. A remote authenticated user can bypass security controls on the target system.

A remote user that has authenticated via the tunnel group preshared key or via a valid certificate can send specially crafted IKEv1 packets to bypass Extended Authentication (XAUTH) and login via the IPsec remote VPN.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCus47259 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can bypass XAUTH authentication controls on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
