Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can invoke the vpnagent with specially crafted options to gain root privileges on the target system.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCus86790 to this vulnerability.

Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows based systems are not affected.

Graham Markall reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
