Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Linux Kernel. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can exploit a race condition during which the extended attribute (xattr) is not set to bypass access control settings and gain elevated privileges.

Systems built with the Btrfs Filesystem support (CONFIG_BTRFS_FS) are affected.

Impact:   A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (3.19) [in November 2014].
