Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM WebSphere MQ. A remote authenticated user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote authenticated administrator user can send specially crafted data to trigger a memory overwrite error and cause the Cluster Repository Manager to shut down.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can cause the target service to shut down.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (,; APAR IT05869).
