Description:
Two vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Office. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
A remote user can create a specially crafted file that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory corruption error and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2015-1682]. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
Office 2007 SP3 is not affected.
3S Labs (via HP's Zero Day Initiative) reported this vulnerability.
A remote user can create a specially crafted Office file that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory corruption error and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2015-1683]. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
Only Office 2007 SP3 is affected.
Jack Tang of Trend Micro reported this vulnerability.
