Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Windows Kernel. A local user can bypass security protections on the target system.

The Windows kernel does not properly validate a memory address. A local user can run a specially crafted application that will bypass Kernel Address Space Layout Randomization (KASLR).

lokihardt@ASRT (via HP's Zero Day Initiative) reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can bypass Address Space Layout Randomization on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
