Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Symantec Workspace Streaming. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can place an arbitrary file in the system root path. When 'AppMgrService.exe' starts or restarts, the service may execute code in the file with local system privileges.

Myles Hosford reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain local system privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (6.1 SP8 MP2 HF7, 7.5 SP1 HF4).
