Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Catalyst 4500 Series devices. A remote authenticated user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote authenticated user can trigger a flaw in the SNMP code to cause the target device to crash.

The flaw occurs when SNMP polling is performed on a device configured for Virtual Switching System (VSS) where there is only one switch in the VSS cluster.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuq04574 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can cause the target device to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
