Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the NVIDIA Driver. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

The driver does not properly validate local client impersonation levels in some cases. A local user can exploit this flaw to gain access to resources acting with local administrator privileges and potentially gain administrative access on the system.

James Forshaw of Google Project Zero reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
