Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco NX-OS. A remote user can execute arbitrary commands on the target system.

A remote user on the adjacent network can return specially crafted DHCP options to trigger a flaw in the PowerOn Auto Provisioning (POAP) feature and execute arbitrary commands on the target device. The commands will run with root privileges.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCur14589 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user on the adjacent network can execute arbitrary commands on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
