Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in Cisco IOS and IOS-XE. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted IKEv2 packets to the target device to consume excessive resources on the target system or cause the target system to reload.

Systems with Internet Security Association and Key Management Protocol (ISAKMP) enabled are affected.

The vendor has assigned bug IDs CSCuo75572 and CSCum36951 to these vulnerabilities.

Cisco IOS XR is not affected.

Cisco NX-OS is not affected.

Impact:   A remote user can consume excessive resources on the target system or cause the target system to reload.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
