Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco SPA 300 and 500 Series IP phones. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system. A remote user can make phone calls.

A remote user can send a specially crafted XML request to listen to a remote audio stream or make phone calls on the target device.

The vulnerability is due to incorrect authentication settings in the default configuration.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuo52482 to this vulnerability.


Impact:   A remote user can listen to audio stream from the target system.

A remote user can make phone calls.
