Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Office. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.

A remote user can create a specially crafted Office file that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a use-after-free memory error and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2015-0085]. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

3S Labs (via HP's Zero Day Initiative) reported this vulnerability.

A remote user can create a specially crafted RTF file that, when loaded by the target user or viewed via the Preview Pane by the target user, will trigger a memory corruption error and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2015-0086]. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

Ben Hawkes of the Google Security Team reported this vulnerability.

A remote user can create a specially crafted Office file that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory corruption error and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2015-0097]. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

Noam Rathaus (via Beyond Security's SecuriTeam Secure Disclosure team) reported this vulnerability.

Microsoft Word Viewer, Microsoft Excel Viewer, and Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack are also affected.

Impact:   A remote user can create a file that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
