Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Linux Kernel. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can trigger a buffer overflow in eCryptfs in the decoding of encrypted file names to cause the target system to crash or execute arbitrary code.

Impact:   A local user can cause the target system to crash.

A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (3.18.2).
