Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager. A remote authenticated user can gain elevated privileges on the target system.

The Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) does not properly validate user roles. A remote authenticated user can gain administrative privileges on the target VMM server and take control of all of the target VMM server's managed virtual machines.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can gain elevated privileges on the target system and the managed virtual machines.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
