Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in Apple iOS. A remote user or a local user (application) can bypass security restrictions.

A specially crafted application can issue AppleFileConduit commands to exploit a flaw in the handling of symbolic links (symlinks) to access protected parts of the filesystem [CVE-2014-4480].

TaiG Jailbreak Team reported this vulnerability.

A specially crafted enterprise-signed application can exploit a flaw in the application installation process to gain control of the local container from applications on the target device [CVE-2014-4493].

Hui Xue and Tao Wei of FireEye, Inc. reported this vulnerability.

A local user can run a specially crafted enterprise-signed application without being prompted for trust [CVE-2014-4494].

Song Jin, Hui Xue, and Tao Wei of FireEye, Inc. reported this vulnerability.

A specially crafted application can exploit a flaw in the mach_port_kobject kernel interface to determine kernel address information and potentially bypass address space layout randomization protection [CVE-2014-4496].

TaiG Jailbreak Team reported this vulnerability.

A remote user can create a specially crafted URL referencing the iTunes store that, when loaded by the target user, will bypass sandbox restrictions [CVE-2014-8840].

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (8.1.3).
