Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Apple OS X. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

On systems with a connected Bluetooth device, a local user can trigger a memory corruption error in IOKit IOBluetoothDevice to execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.

The vendor was notified on October 23, 2014.

Ian Beer of Google Project Zero reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (10.10.2).
